Sore Throat Relief. Let a teaspoon of honey melt in the back of the mouth and trickle down the throat. Eases inflamed raw tissues.

1-1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
1 cup quick oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1/2 cup Burleson's Clover Honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-1/2 cups chopped walnuts or slivered almonds,lightly toasted*
1-1/2 cups semisweet chocolate or white chocolate (vanilla) chips


In large mixing bowl, stir together old-fashioned and quick oats, flour, brown sugar, baking soda and salt. In 1-cup glass measure, melt butter in microwave on High for 1 minute. Whisk in honey and vanilla until combined. Add to oat mixture; stir well. Coat 13x9x2-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Press mixture into pan. Sprinkle nuts on top; press into top of oat mixture. Chill in refrigerator at least 15 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350° F. Bake for 20 to 21 minutes or until light brown. Meanwhile, place chocolate chips in heavy-duty resealable plastic bag. Microwave on 40% power for 2 minutes, massaging the bag every minute. Cut tip off corner; drizzle over top in a decorative pattern. Let cool completely before cutting. Makes about 2 dozen bars.

* Place walnuts or almonds on microwave-safe plate. Microwave on High for 2 minutes, stirring every minute. Cool slightly.
