Sore Throat Relief. Let a teaspoon of honey melt in the back of the mouth and trickle down the throat. Eases inflamed raw tissues.

Heart Healthy Honey Crunch

1/2 c. Burleson's Pure Honey
2/3 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. canola oil
1 c. sliced almonds
1/3 c. salted roasted sunflower seeds
1/3. c. sesame seeds
1/3 c. flaxseeds
3 c. rolled oats

Combine honey, brown sugar and oil in small saucepan. Cook over low heat until just warm.  Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl and stir in the warm honey mixture until evenly coated. Spread mixture on baking sheet, lined with parchment paper sprayed with non-stick spray. Bake in preheated 300 degrees Fahrenheit oven until golden, about 45 minutes. Allow the pan to cool on a rack. Once cool, turn the pan onto a large work surface and peel off the parchment paper. Break granola into chunks and cool some more. Store in airtight container for 4 - 5 days. Makes 10 servings. (Per serving: 465 calories, 24 g. fat, 1.9 g. saturated fat, 54 g. carbohydrate, 6.8 g. fiber)
