Sore Throat Relief. Let a teaspoon of honey melt in the back of the mouth and trickle down the throat. Eases inflamed raw tissues.

Nasal Congestion. Place a dessert spoon of honey in a basin of hot water and inhale fumes after covering your head with a towel over the basin.

Migraine. Use a dessertspoon of honey dissolved in half a glass of warm water. Sip at start of attack. If necessary repeat in 20 minutes.


Wheat-free Peanut Butter-Oat Cookies

1/4 c. Burleson's Pure Honey
1/4 c. maple syrup
1/4 c. peanut butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2-1/2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. sunflower seeds or raisins (optional)

Whisk together honey, syrup, peanut butter, eggs and vanilla. Stir in oats until well combined. Drop rounded tsp. of dough onto an oiled cookie sheet and flatten slightly with wet fingers. Bake in 350 degrees Fahrenheit oven for 10-12 minutes. Allow cookies to rest on the baking sheet for 30 seconds before removing them to a rack to cool.
