Glazed Salmon
Print this Recipe
4 6-oz. salmon fillets
1/2 c. apple cider
2 Tbs. Burleson's Pure Honey
2 lemons, halved
Mix cider and honey in a small saucepan and bring to boil over a medium-high heat. Allow to bubble steadily until reduced by half. Place salmon in a single layer (skin side down) in a baking dish and pour the hot honey/cider mixture over the fillets. Allow to rest for 10 minutes, uncovered. Heat a large skillet (with ovenproof handle) on medium-high heat. Sprinkle flesh side of salmon with salt and pepper, then place it, flesh side down, into the hot pan. Brush the top with glaze and allow to cook for 2 minutes. Turn the fillets over and brush with remaining glaze. Add the lemon halves to the skillet and place the skillet in a preheated 350 degrees Fahrenheit oven. Bake 6 - 8 minutes or until the salmon is flakey but not dry. Brush with any remaining glaze before serving and garnish.
