Holiday Honey Fruited Brie

Make this tasty and attractive appetizer to share with your family and friends.
1/2 cup mixed dried fruit bits
2 tablespoons rum (light or dark)
1/4 cup Burleson's Pure Honey Spread or Pure Clover Honey
1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
1 round (8 oz) Brie* cheese, top rind removed
Unsalted crackers or French bread slices
In small bowl, stir together fruit bits and rum. Microwave on High for 20 seconds. Stir to moisten fruit. Cool to room temperature. Stir in honey and orange peel. Place cheese on microwave-safe serving plate or dish. Spoon fruit mixture over the top of the cheese. Microwave on Medium-High or 50% power for 1 to 2 minutes or just until cheese is warm. Serve immediately with crackers or bread.
Makes 8 servings.
*Substitute Camembert cheese for Brie cheese, if desired.
Holiday Note: Fruit mixture can be prepared ahead of time. Cover and refrigerate until serving time, then bring to room temperature.
