Honey Apricot Almond Sweet Bread

Bread Machine Recipe
1-1/4 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup Burleson's Clover honey
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3-1/2 cups bread flour
2 teaspoons active dry or instant yeast
1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
1/2 cup Sunshine Country Slivered Almonds, toasted*
Measure carefully and place all ingredients except apricots and almonds in bread machine container in the order recommended by bread machine manufacturer. Place container inside machine. Select "Dough/Pasta" cycle. Press start. When cycle is complete, remove dough from container; knead the apricots and almonds into dough. Divide dough into 3 balls and shape each into a rope. Place ropes on greased cookie sheet and braid together. Cover; let raise about 45 minutes or until doubled in size. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with Honey Almond Spread.
Makes 1 loaf.
Honey Almond Spread: Place 1/2 cup Burlesons Creme Honey and 1/2 cup Sunshine Country toasted almonds in blender container. Process until spreadable. (To increase quantity, just use equal amounts of honey and almonds.)
* To toast almonds, place in microwave-safe dish and microwave on high for 4 minutes, stirring once. Cool.
