Honey-Beer Barbecue Sauce

1 medium onion, finely chopped (1/2 cup)
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon canola vegetable oil
1 bottle (12 ounces) chili sauce (1 cup)
1/2 cup beer
1/3 cup Burleson's Pure Clover Honey
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
4 teaspoons prepared mustard
In small saucepan over medium-high heat, cook and stir onion and garlic in oil until onion is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, about 20 minutes or until desired consistency, stirring occasionally. Brush on beef, chicken or pork during the last 10 minutes of grilling. If desired, reheat and pass remaining sauce.
Makes about 1-1/2 cups sauce.
