Nut n' Honey Brittle

1 c. Burleson's Pure Honey
2 c. sugar
1 Tbs. butter
1 c. water
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. slivered almonds
 
In a heavy bottom saucepan on medium-high heat, stir together honey, sugar, salt and water until sugar has dissolved. Bring to a boil and continue to cook until mixture reaches 300 degrees Fahrenheit on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and add butter and almonds, stirring only enough to mix them in. Pour mixture onto an oiled marble slab or cookie pan. Spread, making mixture as thin as possible. Once cooled, break or hammer the brittle into pieces and store in an air-tight container.
