Burleson's Honey - Taste
"Honey, I Baked Your Favorite Rich and Chewy Cookies" Cookies

If you like chewy cookies, this honey and nut recipe will become one of your favorites.
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
2 egges
1/2 cup Burleson's Clover Honey
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking soda
1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups quick or old-fashioned oats
1-1/2 cups Sunshine Country Chopped Pecans, toasted*
Sunshine Country Pecan Halves (optional)
In large mixer bowl, beat brown sugar and butter until light. Add eggs, Burleson's honey and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy. In separate bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; add to beaten mixture, blending well. Stir in oats and Sunshine Country Chopped Pecans. Place teaspoonfuls of cookie dough on ungreased cookie sheet. Place 1 Sunshine Country Pecan Half on each cookie, pressing down slightly. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
Makes 4 to 5 dozen cookies.
*To toast pecans, place pecans in microwave-safe dish. Microwave on High for 4 minutes, stirring once. Cool.
