Baked Acorn Squash

2 medium to large acorn squash
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. Burleson's Pure Honey
1 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit Cut squash in half crosswise and scoop out seeds and membrane. Prick flesh in several places with a fork, but don't pierce the skin. Place squash halves cut-side-up in 8-inch square baking dish. Pour about an inch of water into the dish around the base of the squash halves. Mix honey, butter and nuts together in a small bowl and spoon 1/4 of the mixture into the squash cavities. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees fahrenheit for 45 minutes or until a sharp knife easily pierces the flesh of the squash. Makes 4 servings.
