1 medium onion, finely chopped (1/2 cup) 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1 cup catsup 1/3 cup water 1/4 cup Burleson’s Pure Clover Honey 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
In small saucepan over medium-high heat, cook and stir onion in butter until onion is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes to blend flavors. Brush on beef, chicken or pork during the last 10 minutes of grilling. If desired, reheat and pass remaining sauce.
Makes 1-1/2 cups sauce.
