These yummy bears will satisfy your chocolate cravings.
1/4 cup butter or margarine (1/2 stick)
3/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
1 bag (10-1/2 oz) miniature marshmallows
1/4 cup Burleson's Clover Honey
1 box (10 oz) or 9-3/4 cups crisp rice cereal*
Candy or raisins for decorations (optional)
In large microwave-safe bowl, microwave butter and chocolate chips on High for 45 seconds. stir in marshmallows; microwave on High for 1-1/2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth. Stir in Burleson's Honey until well combined. Add cereal; stir to coat. Let cool for a few minutes. Spray nonstick cooking spray on inside of Honey Bear Shaper before using the first time. Firmly press** about 1 cup cereal mixture at a time into Honey Bear Shaper. Tap on waxed paper to release. Decorate as desired. Makes 12 to 14 Chocolate Honey Bears.
* If you like, substitute 1 box (15 oz) or 10-1/2 cups crisp cocoa rice cereal for the crisp rice cereal.
** Tip: It's easier to press mixture into shaper when you wear plastic gloves. No gloves? No problem. Simply place a clean plastic bag over each hand before pressing mixture into shaper.
