Creamy Honey Oat Cookies

1 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. Burleson's Pure Honey
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground ginger
3 c. quick-cooking oats
1 c. chopped dates or raisins

Cream butter and gradually add sugar and honey, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Stir in sour cream and blend well. In separate bowl, combine flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, and ginger. Gradually add flour mixture to creamed mixture. Mix in fruit. Drop dough by tsp.fuls, 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 375 degrees fahrenheit for 10 - 12 minutes. Cool 5 minutes on cookies sheets before removing to wire rack to cool completely. Makes 8 dozen.
