1/3 cup Burleson's Pure Clover Honey 1/3 cup canola oil 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 1/2 teaspoon poppy seed 1/4 teaspoon salt
1 package (1 lb.) coleslaw mix 1 crisp, tart apple, cored and chopped (Braeburn or Jonagold recommended) 1 can (11 oz) mandarin oranges, drained 1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries (Craisins recommended) 1/2 cup salted sunflower seeds, toasted
In small bowl, whisk together honey, oil, vinegar, poppy seed and salt; set aside. In large bowl, combine coleslaw mix, apple, oranges, dried cranberries and sunflower seeds. Pour dressing over coleslaw mixture; stir to coat. Will keep for up to 2 days in the refrigerator.
Makes 8 servings.
