2 lbs. red snapper or cod fillets 1/2 c. Burleson's Pure Honey 1/2 c. water 1/4 c. lemon juice or rice vinegar 1/4 c. dry white wine 1 Tbs. cornstarch 1 tsp. garlic salt 1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel 1 Tbs. chopped fresh cilantro, tarragon, thyme or basil
In a small saucepan, combine honey, water, lemon juice, wine, cornstarch, garlic salt and lemon peel, stirring over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens. Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes. Add herbs, mix well, and remove from heat. Place fish on lightly oiled baking sheet and broil for about 10 minutes per inch of thickness, or until fish becomes opaque and flakes easily when tested with fork. Spoon sauce over fish to serve. Makes 4 servings.
