An ideal midweek dinner for two. Prepare the marinade before you leave for work and cook the steak when you get home. Then take the leftovers for lunch the next day!
2 lbs. flank steak 1/3 c. Burleson's Dark Honey 1/4 c. soy sauce 2 Tbs. balsamic vinegar 1-1/2 tsp. garlic powder, or 1 clove garlic, minced 2 Tbs. fresh ginger, grated, or 1 tsp. ginger powder 1/2 c. canola oil
Combine soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic powder, ginger and oil in a container with a tight lid or zippered plastic bag and mix well. Cut light diagonal slashes on each side of the flank steak in a diamond pattern. Place the meat in the marinade and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Grill over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes per side.
