4 Bartlett pears 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine 1/2 cup Burleson's Pure Honey 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 quart of vanilla ice cream
Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F.). Cut pears lengthwise into 4 thick slices, removing seeds and core; place on platter or flat surface.
In 1-cup glass measure, microwave butter on High for 30 seconds. Add honey, cinnamon and vanilla; whisk together. Brush mixture over both sides of pear slices to coat evenly.
Using tongs, place pear slices on hot grill. Cook 2 to 3 minutes per side. Serve pears over ice cream with remaining sauce. Makes 4 servings.
