A sweet new twist on an old standard
6 links of bratwurst 6 to 8 cloves garlic, sliced 1 c. Burleson's Dark Honey 6 toasted buns
Preheat grill to medium. Cut garlic into 3-4 large slices each. Make 3-4 slits in each brat. Place a slice of garlic in each slit on a brat and cook brats on the grill. When the sausages are halfway done, use a brush to glaze the tops with honey, being sure to dab honey into the garlic-filled slits. Add honey 2-3 times as the brats finish cooking. Serve on toasted buns. Serving suggestion: Mix honey with 1/4 c. of Tabasco for extra zing.
