2/3 c. milk 1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted 1/2 c. Burleson's Pure Honey 2 eggs 1-1/2 c. whole wheat flour 2/3 c. cornmeal 2-1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt
Beat together milk, butter, honey and eggs in a small bowl and set aside. In large bowl, stir together dry ingredients. Add honey mixture to dry ingredients. Stir just enough to barely moisten flour without over mixing. Spoon batter into paper-lined or greased muffin c. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes. Serve warm with honey. Makes 18 muffins. Serving suggestion: Serve warm with Burleson's Honey Spread.
