Make this full-flavored herb marinade for your favorite beef steak. Serve glazed carrots and roasted potatoes alongside.
2 to 4 beef rib-eye steaks or beef tenderloin medallions 1/4 cup canola oil 3 tablespoons Burleson's Clover Honey 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (juice from 1/2 medium lemon) 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar 1-1/2 teaspoon onion powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves, crushed 1/4 teaspoon dry ground mustard 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
Place beef in 1-gallon-size resealable plastic bag; set aside. In 1-cup glass measure, whisk together remaining ingredients. Pour over beef. Seal bag and refrigerate for 4 to 24 hours. Remove beef from marinade; grill according to the cut of beef. Pour marinade into a microwave-safe dish. Microwave on Medium (power level 5) for 7 to 10 minutes. Serve cooked sauce with the grilled beef.
Makes 2 to 4 servings.
