Bread Machine Recipe
1 1/3 cups water
¼ cup Burleson's Pure Honey
2 tablespoons unsweetened apple sauce
2 cups bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup quick or old-fashioned oats
2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
2/3 cup walnuts, chopped
Place ingredients in the bread machine in the order listed above (except walnuts). Select the Sweet Bread setting. After about 20 minutes, the machine will beep to let you know when to add the walnuts. After adding walnuts, close lid and allow the machine to continue until the bread is baked (about 3 1/2 hours). Makes 1 2-lb. loaf.
