½ cup Burleson’s Honey ½ cup canola oil 3 cups old-fashioned oats 1½ cups flaked coconut 1 cup slivered almonds ½ cup chopped macadamia nuts ½ cup wheat germ 1¼ cups chopped tropical dried fruit (mango, pineapple, papaya) (7-oz. pkg. Sunmaid Tropical Trio recommended)
Preheat oven to 300º F. In a large bowl, whisk together honey and oil. Add remaining ingredients except tropical fruit; stir well. Line two 15x10x1-inch baking pans with parchment paper. Divide oat mixture on two pans. Bake for 20 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. Divide tropical fruit between each pan; stir well. Continue baking for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every 5 minutes. Let cool on wire racks. Remove from baking pans; store in an airtight container. Makes about 8 cups.
