Honey roasted pecans are a delicious, gluten-free, easy-to-make treat. They blend the sweetness of Burleson’s Texas Wildflower Honey with the savory flavor of butter and nuts. The result is a mouth-watering, satisfying, and natural snack.
The topping of kosher salt and crystalized sugar makes them nice enough to put out at a party, but they’re also perfect for everyday eating.
Preheat oven to 275° F.
In 4-cup glass measure, combine honey, granulated sugar, and butter.
Microwave on high setting for 2 minutes.
Microwave on high setting for 2 more minutes, stirring every 30 seconds.
Stir in vanilla.
Meanwhile, divide pecans onto 2 rimmed baking pans lined with parchment paper.
Drizzle half of the hot honey mixture over each pan of pecans.
Bake for 35 minutes, stirring every 10 to 12 minutes.
Cool for 2 to 3 minutes on pans.
Combine salt and crystallized sugar and sprinkle over pecans.
Cool completely before breaking into pieces.
Store in airtight container.
